When Repair Stops Making Sense
We will not push you to a Rs 8 lakh major overhaul when the unit's market value is Rs 3 lakh. These thresholds tell you when replacement or buy-back is the smarter spend.
- If estimated repair cost > 50% of unit's current market value: we will recommend selling to our buyback program and buying an inspected used or new CPCB IV+ unit. Use our used DG valuation guide to estimate your unit's worth.
- If your unit is pre-CPCB IV+ and operating in Delhi NCR: consider RECD retrofit alongside the repair. Combined install often saves 15-20% over doing them separately.
